How to use this wiki

The wiki is to be a lightly structured repository of the known set of threats to human survival about which we have at least some peer reviewed literature.

Main Page types

The format is to break up the information about survival risks into 3 types as follows:

• Problem pages - Problem pages describe the risk, its likely effects, and the risk of it occurring. Lastly there are links to solution pages at the end of each problem page. Problem pages are "many to many" with solution pages
• Solution Pages - Solution pages discuss mitigation and avoidance strategies, and their likely effectiveness, but avoid discussing how to make those mitigations happen. Lastly the end of each solution page is a list of tech pages for bringing that solution to reality. Solution pages are "one to many" with tech pages.
• Tech pages - Tech pages discuss how to make various solution scenarios into reality. For example a mitigation for pandemics is to make extinct known pandemic diseases, but there are a number of ways that could be made to happen. Tech pages can bring about solution or mitigation states for more than one problem, so they are "many to many" with solution pages. They do not link to problem pages, but you can use the "what links here" wikimedia feature to track back to the original problem.
